TENNIS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR

SELECTION GUIDELINES

Member coaches of the Texas Girls Coaches Association have the privilege

of nominating an outstanding individual to be named as Athlete of the Year.

All nomination forms must be sent to TGCA by:

~mailing to TGCA at P.O. Box 2137, Austin, TX 78768

~faxing to TGCA at 512-708-1325

Nominees must fulfill the following requirements:

1. May be selected from any grade level 9 - 12.

2. Be an outstanding athlete in her sport.

4. Demonstrate positive character traits (honesty, loyalty, leadership, cooperative attitude).

Two Athletes of the Year will be selected for Tennis by the Executive Director and Executive Committee; one athlete from a 1A-2A-3A-4A school and one athlete from a 5A-6A school.
